Corporate Services - AMAI

AMAI Traditional Martial Arts ... Providing traditional martial arts and self defence for men, women and children.

The AMAI has contributed to Corporate Training and Executive Coaching Australia wide for many years. The philosophy and practice principles of traditional martial arts are entirely transferable to the corporate setting on almost all levels. The training provided includes the vital component of ACTION in ensuring sustainable learning by individuals and teams.

Research demonstrates that the vast majority of businesses in Australia do not invest in Corporate development programmes, Strategic planning or Staff / Customer development. That same research also demonstrates that over 51% of business do not survive three years or exist in a state of crisis management near permanently. (These figures are worse again in the small to medium business category where also over 80% have no Strategic or Business Plan)

Of the 325,935 business entries during 2003 – 2004, 49% were still operating in June 2007. Of the 167,434 which exited, 48% had exited during 2004 – 2005, 33% during 2005-2006 and the remaining 19% during 2006-2007. ABS 2007.

What does occur is that businesses recognise that they regularly experience a variety of challenges that eventually impact on their productivity / financial viability. A common response is to employ a consultancy that will address those symptoms. Because these are always only symptoms, the causal challenges are not addressed or rectified.

It is common sense to have chosen destinations and have a quality roadmap when we set off on any journey.

Business is a journey …

Corporate development programmes help businesses:

create a vision
develop meaningful Values and Competencies
identify their destination/s
provide a roadmap
provide a timeframe
analyse and plan to avoid obstacles
review progress regularly
improve their working environment
employ people who genuinely want to share the journey
reduce conflict and stress
instil a culture that is consistent with their values
ensure quality control / continuous improvement cycles
improve their bottom line
enjoy the journey
SUCCEED

The AMAI Corporate Development programmes are unique and provide business with a real return for their investment.
